A close friend of Scully's from the FBI academy is killed while working undercover in the New York mafia. Later his killer has a near death experience while in FBI custody waiting to testify against his former "family". It seems his conscience has caught up to him, literally, when "demons" made of light come to claim him. Now Mulder and Scully try to find out just what is pursuing him before its too late.
