A man named Xandu wants the Wand of Watoomb, and learns it is under the protection of a novice sorceror. It turns out the original Sorceror Supreme up and vanished without a trace 20 years ago, and his then unborn son is all that`s left. His mother tried to hide this information from him, but Wong filled him in on his 21st birthday. Xandu uses his magic to enthrall Spider-Man, and sends him after Strange to do his dirty work.
