Alfred's group learns some of the history of the world they are in, but they make a serious cultural faux pas before they learn everything they'd like to know. Meanwhile, the heroes led by Carter Hall are fighting for what they hope will be a better world, despite some of them knowing it won't be much better for them as individuals.
