An assassin's bullet has struck down General Zod, causing a massive panic on New Krypton. With the head of the Military Guild down, it falls to his Commanders to govern the planet's defense. Ursa is paralyzed by her concern for the general, leaving it to Kal-El and Gor.
The assassin is apprehended, but after a brief interrogation an escape is orchestrated indicating outside help. Sensors are able to locate him, but he's not on New Krypton... Ral-Dar is headed straight for Earth. The last thing Earth needs is the Kryptonian military, prompting Kal-El o change clothes before pursuing him.
