With Aquaman missing and Bruce Wayne on trial, the JLA is running with less than its full complement. Wonder Woman encounters a mother whose child has been kidnapped, but when the JLA investigate, they find the child has been selected by tradition to rule his native country, and the mother's wishes are in violation of local law.
