While Jo Chaney distracts the vampire Simone, Grimjack is upstairs searching for information. What he has found is ninja mimes, with telekinetic powers that are interested in killing him artistically. After extracting himself from that situation, he takes the Kaa stone from Ilsa Kalter, setting off a psychic alarm, alerting Simone to his presence.
After losing Simone, Grimjack and Chaney go to the pit, where Jo shows him Munden's Bar, which she owns. They meet the bartender, Bob Munden, and his sone Gordon, Jo's ex-husband. During the course of an arguement, Jo sells the bar to Grimjack for 1 credit, before storming out into the pit.
