Ever since his encounter with the Justice League, the original Prometheus has been trapped in a holding cell, drooling his way through life. He is held in that state by the Martian Manhunter's telepathic abilities. When the Manhunter was killed, Prometheus woke up, and started to take back the name he'd earned for himself.
