Karen has arranged a surprise for Matt. It seems one of his old classmates now runs a small, European country, and that country is the new home to a doctor who may be able to restore Matt's sight. Matt agrees to visit despite his fear that regaining his sight will mean losing his powers, because he knows his old classmate has been lying about why the good doctor relocated countries, and feels compelled to investigate.
