Daredevil is distracted by a runaway car while Stilt-Man makes his appearance. He soon terrorizes the city, robbing helicopters and buildings that are far too high for normal criminals to reach. While trying to track him down, Murdock is also hired by Wilbur Day, who wants to sue his employers for stealing his invention.
