Blue Beetle and the Teen Titans both attend the launch of a space rocket for different reasons - Beetle has discovered it contains some anti-Reach technology while the Titans, acting on information from Batman, are keen to see it launched. They team up and battle Lobo who had been hired by the Reach. Having defeated him, the launch goes ahead and Robin invites Beetle to Titans Tower.
