The Blob returns to the circus and, now that he knows he's a mutant (Homo Superior, in his view) he takes over! And his first order is to attack the X-Men, whose secrets he wants. He and his henchmen overpower them, but they fail to account for Marvel Girl's telekinesis, and the X-Men soon turn the tables. With the help of an "intensifier" Professor X removes the Blob's memories, and those of his men, and they return to the circus. (From X-Men #3).
