"Lex Luthor, Hero!" - In part 1 of this imaginary tale, Lex Luthor has discovered a sample of Element Z. Deciding to turn over a new leaf, he uses it to create a cure for cancer. Paroled for his good deeds, he starts to live his new life, but former associates aren't happy about it.
"Luthor's Super-Bodyguard" - In part 2 of this imaginary tale, Lex Luthor is attacked by several mobsters. Superman builds him an orbiting satellite where he can remain protected from assaults and continue his work. Unfortunately, the true nature of his work is not what Superman believes it is.
"The Death of Superman" - In the conclusion to this imaginary tale, Lex Luthor has finally succeeded in killing Superman. The hero is mourned by the Justice League, but Luthor does not escape justice.
