Note: The art in this issue was unused from the recently cancelled John Carter Warlord Of Mars series. Rather than scrap the artwork, Chris Claremont was hired to write a Star Wars story based on it and Walt Simonson added new panels giving it cohesion and more of a "Star Wars" look.
