The Silver Surfer is mourning the passing of Nova when his grief is interrupted by Jack of Hearts. The strange energies that permeate his body threaten to destroy him, and the Surfer is the only one he could think to turn to. With a thought on how he might help Jack, the pair head off to the Anvil, the facility where Torvus is incarcerated.
