Under attack by the followers of Alexei Ganger, the Silver Surfer has inadvertantly dealt a mortal wound to Alicia Masters' stepfather, the Puppet Master. Determined to save him, the Surfer delves into Phillip Masters' soul to help him rally the will to fight.
