Raika escapes Chosei's men but is being tracked by Ikinameh. A battle between Ikinameh and Raika ensues, but Raika disables him and is able to get back to the mountain camp. Meanwhile, Chosei plans the burial for the queen and sends his soldiers to get able bodied men to become her servants. The men are then buried alive with the queen, and Iyo and Kijinohiko begin to question the motives of Chosei.
