Chosei begins his plot to take over the kingdom by blaming the murder of the queen on the boy, Raika. The plan goes into motion as Chosei's assassin Ikinameh kills Queen Himiko, then disguises himself as a common messenger and tells Raika that Iyo wants to see him at the castle. It is there that Raika discovers the body of the Queen, and is then seen by Iyo, who accuses him of the vial deed. She then attacks Raika with a magic spell, and Chosei sends the army after him.
