The New Mutants check out a local fair, and are forced to intervene when Viper and the Silver Samurai attack the grounds, hoping to draw out the Dark Rider. They do, and the Dark Rider is captured, but nobody understands how the Dark Rider can possibly be Dani Moonstar.
