Loki is angry about the events depicted in the X-Men/Alpha Flight crossover special, and is looking to get revenge. He recruits the Enchantress to help him capture Storm and the New Mutants. When Magik tries to teleport them out of harm's way and into limbo, Enchantress' wards scatter the team through space, time, and all of the worlds of Yggdrasil.
