U.S. Agent leds a contingent of Earth's heroes into the heart of the Ruul's base of operations. Meanwhile, on Earth the Fantastic Four and Iron Man are transferring the Ego presence into the Silver Surfer's body as the Scarlet Witch and a group of mages try to draw from Earth's mystical energy as a way of expelling Ego, but to no avail.
