Peter meets Aunt May's kidnapper for lunch, and learns it's Mac Gargan. The former Scorpion tells a tale of Osborn's manipulation, supervillain cartels, big business and government coverups that makes a disturbing amount of sense. Before Peter can properly deal with such revelations, he's given an offer he can't accept, but can't afford to refuse.
