Regaining his senses, Tensen agrees to work with the N.S.C. His first mission is to put a stop to the fanatic Justice Brigade. Justice finds one of their agents and follows them back to their base. He demands that the Justice Brigade cease to exist. But, not realizing they would take him literally, the group blows themselves up after Justice leaves. The deaths of all the people shake his belief in his mission.
At Bethesda Naval Hospital outside Washington D.C., Kathy and Anastasia are treated by Dr. Lucian Ballad. When a paranormal named Pippin runs wild, Kathy blasts him with her powers. Over Kathy's objections, Ballad has Stasi help treat his injuries.
