The urban legend about someone stealing kidneys is brought to life, with the victims being a variety of C level heroes and villains. Dr. Mid-Nite is called in by S.T.A.R.'s Dr. Janet Klyburn to consult on the problem. He starts with Roulette, interrupting an ongoing match, and gaining a lead to one of the recipients of a transplant. This leads him to a face-off with Ultra-Humanite.
