Power Girl is taken to a pocket universe by the original Superman, who feels that he finally understands why he survived the Crisis on Infinite Earths. His job is to take the current Earth, which he feels is badly broken, and remove it so that it can be replaced by the one he knew, filled with hope and righteous heroes.
