An unimportant scribe is hurriedly rushed to a meeting of several of the most important members of the Empire in the Homelands, including Gepetto himself. This meeting is to formulate a response to Fabletown's recent action in destroying Gepetto's Sacred Grove, source of the Wooden Soldiers used by the Empire in their armies.
