Carter Blaire is virtually catatonic. Alison's presence brings him out of it, but he's not happy, and spouts out everything he was trying to hide from her about her mother. Dazzler is then hired to do a charity benefit and invite her super hero friends, little realizing that her mother will be in the audience.
