Foggy and Dakota have been attacked and are seriously injured. What they don't realize is that there are agents within the Hand who have manipulated Matt into becoming that which he hates the most, specifically to control him and bring forth the true power behind the Hand. Izo and Elektra discover this in Japan, but are unable to return to New York quickly enough to prevent further violence.
